There has been a “stay at home” order placed in Yakima County. The clinic is open to provide “essential” care, which we currently classify as:
1) Ill or injured pets
2) Puppy/kitten vaccines
3) Rabies vaccines
We are hoping to start trying to manage some of the more chronic or mild illnesses (such as ear infections, skin rashes, etc) via telephone/facetime but still working on details. If you are unsure if you should be seen at this time, please call us at (509) 837-4166 and we’ll try to determine our best course of action.
You may also be able to use email to send a photo or video to: firstname.lastname@example.org
Thank you all for your understanding over the past couple weeks as we’ve dramatically shifted our business to “curb-side service”. We’ve enjoyed interacting with you all in the parking lot (from 6+ feet away)! We also want to thank everyone who has been so understanding about our need to cancel elective surgeries to reduce our use of surgical/medical equipment so there’s more to go around at the human hospitals.
"For a long time I've wanted to send a note to thank you for your care of our pets. Every time we bring our animals to your clinic, you show the perfect combination of expert care and compassion. I am especially grateful for the sensitivity you showed me when I brought Whitefoot in for the final time. You helped me through a rough time."
